Kyle and Stephanie Wood have been traveling to Puerto Peñasco, Sonora, Mexico for over 3 years. They love Mexico. They love the people, the culture, the scenic beauty, the beaches, the food and the incredible potential for this once small and sleepy fishing village. We truly do love it here. We love to get in our car and drive and explore. We go for a quick get away weekend or a week or a month. We enjoy the experience of trying new places to eat and meeting new people in the process.

Many Americans, mostly from Arizona, move to Puerto Peñasco because of the life style and a dream of a slower way of life. Many are retirees. Soaking up the sun. Looking for lower cost medical care. Spending away their kids inheritance. Many are working age that have opened up their own and sometimes very successful business. They help to support the local economy, employ workers, pay local and federal taxes and help to make Puerto Peñasco a better place for its residents and the tourist who come to visit. There are college students who do come to party. Meet up with the opposite sex. And have fun. Some of these very same college students who came on spring break 30 years ago to party are the same individuals now retiring, buying a condo, or running a business in Puerto Peñasco.

We wanted to share our experiences traveling Mexico and Puerto Peñasco with those who appreciate the good things in life; Meeting people, learning about different cultures, experiencing a slower way of life and appreciating what is really important in life. Appreciating your spouse, your friends, your family, your health,  

good wine, good beer, and new friends. What we did'nt’t want was to create another Rocky Point rental website. There are plenty of those. If you want to rent a home or a condo we can point you in the right directions.

What we do want is to hear from you. We want to hear about your experiences traveling to Rocky Point, your memories of a trip or an interesting story about someone you met. Tells us about your waiter at a local restaurant you got to know or tell us about a vendor on a beach you got to know Tell us about a land or sea adventure you took; Parasailing, jet skiing, deep sea fishing. Or tell us about someone you know that runs a successful business in town. Tell us about your business if you have one in Rocky Point. Tells us everything you know about Puerto Peñasco. We’ll put it up for everyone to read and to learn from your experience.
