Another fine Cigar shop is Tabaqueria Calle 13. They specialize in Cuban Cigars, Dominican Republic, & Mexican Cigars. Their shop includes a walk-in humidor and availability of many accessories. The shop is located on Calle 13 on the north side of the street.

For reasonability priced cigars visit Clay at The Friendly Shop on (Revolution Ave) which the tourists call Shacks 5th Ave. The Friendly Shop offers both Cubans and Mexican cigars. The quality is good and prices reasonable. A box of 25 Monty Cristos will cost you $90 to $100 dollars depending on if you are a regular customer. Clay will also throw in a free shot of smooth, home made tequila. Clay also sells women’s purses, so while your girl is shopping for purses you can drink and have have a smoke. I like the Monty Cristos. Nice flavor and long lasting.

If you just must have a cigar and can’t get off the beach the beach vendors do sell cigars but they are very pricey and old and dry. Don’t waste your money. It’s best that on your next drive into town, remember to either stop at the Fine Cuban Cigar Company or Tabaqueria Calle 13.
