Looking for a steak and seafood dinner at a restaurant with fabulous atmosphere and a spectacular view of the Sea of Cortez? The Ocean View restaurant at the recently opened Sonoran Sky Resort on Sandy Beach has it all. Seafood, steak, and Mexican food are the specialties of the house. If you enjoy steamed clams, try their clams in a garlic butter broth. Some of the best clams around. I highly recommend them. Cheese enchiladas are also quite good. Our favorite spot to sit is the out door seating on the patio with unobstructed views of the ocean and setting sun. You may even be lucky to see an occasional horse galloping down the beach.

Breakfast Buffet for $9.95
For breakfast, the Ocean View offers every weekend a $9.95 buffet all you can eat with coffee included. During peak season the buffet is offer every day. They have a chef available in the dining room to make eggs any way you like. The buffet includes the tradition American fair of pancakes, waffles, and bacon. On the Mexican food side look for the pulled pork and onions, breakfast fajitas, seasoned potatoes or chilaquiles - tortillas, onions, and red sauce.

The Ocean View is located on Cholla Drive just south of Puerta Privada. Go through security, park to the right and enter through the main lobby. Walk to the pool area and down the stair to the right Alternatively, there are stairs leading from the parking lot to the right of the building.

For a relaxing morning, walk the Sandy Beach to the Ocean View, its north of Puesta del Sol and south of Las Palomas and Puerta Privada. It’s conveniently located in the resort area of Sandy Beach if you had one too many cocktails in the evening. Ocean View accepts Visa and Mastercard. The restaurant is open between 8am and 10pm.
